FIRST WARNING: Bible prophecy is a “delicate” topic. There are times when Bible prophecy is “layered” – having both a near and a far “time” application, or is applicable to more than one individual, location, or nation (e.g., a “dual application”). [Example: One particular individual may serve as a “type” for another individual following centuries later!] However, knowing this to be so should not stop us from studying prophecy in the Holy Bible. Our primary source for understanding Bible prophecy, including the prophecies concerning the Antichrist found in the books of Daniel and Revelation [called Apocalypse by the Roman Catholic Church], must be the Holy Bible itself! Studying the entire Bible through each year is very important, because Holy Scripture interprets Holy Scripture! For example, the “meaning” of a prophetic symbol or sign in one particular verse may be interpreted for the reader several verses later – or, possibly in a totally different book of the Holy Bible! A good knowledge of both world history and church history is essential to recognizing the fulfillment of certain key Bible prophecies. Additionally, we must be careful not to “spiritualize” everything in Bible prophecy, nor to “take literally” everything in Bible prophecy. Rather, wherever possible, we must let Holy Scripture interpret Holy Scripture, and closely examine the “context” of the verse or passage.
SECOND WARNING:
This issue of the ETI newsletter may seriously “disturb” some folks’ “comfort
zones”; however, truth
is far more important than any of our “comfort zones”. While
there may remain some levels of disagreement on Bible prophecy that is yet
to be fulfilled, there can be no doubt concerning much of Bible prophecy that
has already been fulfilled.

“Anti-”
(per Webster’s 1828 American Dictionary of the English Language): “A
preposition signifying ‘against’, ‘opposite’, ‘contrary’, or ‘in
place of’; used in many English words.”
((Ed. Comment: As you are reading this newsletter, please keep in mind this particular meaning “in the place of” for the prefix “anti-” as concerns the anti-Christ – one who sits “in the place of” Christ.))
“Antichrist”
(per VINE’S Complete Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words;
1985): “Antichrist [Greek: antichristos]…can mean either
‘against Christ’ or ‘instead of Christ’, or perhaps, combining the two,
‘one who, assuming the guise of Christ, opposes Christ’…”
“Antichrist”
(per Webster’s 1828 American Dictionary of the English Language): “A
great adversary of Christ; the man of sin; described [in] I John 2:18; II
Thessalonians [Chapter] 2; [and] Revelation [Chapter] 9. Protestants generally suppose this adversary to be the Papal
power; and some divines [i.e., clergymen] believe that, in a more
general sense, the word extends to any persons who deny Christ or oppose the
fundamental doctrines of Christianity.”
“Antichrist” (per Steve Wohlberg, author of the book End Time Delusions; 2004; Page 89): “The word ‘antichrist’ literally means ‘opposed to’ or ‘in the place of’ Christ, and in its most subtle and diabolical manifestation it concerns something which [Ed. Note: or someone who] claims loyalty to Jesus [Christ] while really leading away from Him.”

“Ancient city on the lower Euphrates River (in what is now central Iraq), the
capital of Babylonia: noted for wealth, luxury, and wickedness.”
“Babylonia”
(per Webster’s New World College Dictionary, Fourth Edition; 2006): “Ancient
empire in southwestern Asia, in the lower valley of the Tigris and Euphrates
rivers: it flourished c.2100-689 B.C. and again, as Chaldea or ‘New
Babylonia’, c.625-538 B.C.”

Pope” (per

Superior General: He is the commander-in-chief of the ‘Society of Jesus’
(i.e., the Jesuit Order). He is the real power ‘behind the throne’ of
the Papacy; and he is also the master of all these: his Jesuit order, the
Knights of Malta, and the highest levels of Freemasonry – and of all that he
controls through them.”
“Catholic bashing”
or “Anti-Catholic” (per Darryl Eberhart, Editor of ETI): “Two
‘labels’ that, for the most part, are applied, usually by Roman
Catholics, to any and all who dare to point out any of the following:
(a.)
Errors in Roman Catholic doctrine;
(b.)
Papal Rome’s and the
Jesuit Order’s well-documented history of fomenting and orchestrating
bloody revolutions and wars;
(c.)
Papal Rome’s well-documented history (for centuries) of suppressing
the possession of, and the study of, the Holy Bible by the common people in
their own native language;
(d.)
Papal Rome’s well-documented history of torture, Inquisition,
‘holy’ wars, and ‘holy’ crusades against innocent
Bible-believing Christians (such as the Albigenses and Waldenses);
(e.)
Papal Rome’s well-documented history of hating and brutally
persecuting Jews, Protestants, and Orthodox Christians throughout the
centuries, (e.g., the Vatican’s religious genocide in the 1940s
against Serb Orthodox Christians in Fascist Croatia, where from 600,000 to 1
million men, women, elderly, and children were tortured and murdered
by Roman Catholic Ustashi military units that were frequently led by Roman
Catholic priests, friars, and monks);

totalitarian police states (such as Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, and Fascist

The control of the top levels of Freemasonry by the Roman Catholic

‘lukewarm’ Christian denominations – and even some of the independent
fundamental churches – in America today that refuse (1) to truly stand against
false doctrine, evil, and tyranny, and (2) to truly stand for truth,
justice, and righteousness as spelled out in God’s Holy Word, the Bible.”
((Ed. Comment to the preceding definition: Many writers have questioned the “sincerity” of Constantine’s “conversion” to Christianity! He remained at the head of the pagan priesthood as “Pontifex Maximus” after his supposed “conversion” to Christianity in 313 A.D., and it appears that he simply cut a political deal with the organized “Church” of his day. Author Dave Hunt, in his book A Woman Rides the Beast (1994), tells us on page 46: “While heading the Christian Church, [Roman Emperor] Constantine continued to head the pagan priesthood, to officiate at pagan celebrations, and to endow pagan temples even after he began to build Christian churches. As head of the pagan priesthood he was the ‘Pontifex Maximus’ and needed a similar title as head of the Christian Church. The Christians honored him as ‘Bishop of Bishops’, while Constantine called himself ‘Vicarius Christi’, [that is,] Vicar of Christ.”))
“Crusade” (per
Webster’s New World Dictionary, Second College Edition; 1974; first two
meanings): “1. Any of the military expeditions which Christians [Ed.
Note: to be more precise, Roman Catholics] undertook from the end of
the 11th [century] to the end of the 13th century
to recover the Holy Land from the Moslems.
2. Any church-sanctioned war or expedition like this.”
((Ed Comment to the preceding definition: The Papacy launched “holy” crusades against Bible-believing Christian groups, such as the Albigenses in southern France, and the Waldenses in southeastern France and northwest Italy.))
“Donation of Constantine
[a.k.a. the “Gift of Constantine”] (per 1955 World Scope
Encyclopedia): “…The transfer of the ownership of the city of
Rome and surrounding territory to the Pope by the Roman Emperor Constantine
(272-337). The document which was once believed to prove this [alleged] historical
fact was eventually unveiled as an early medieval falsification.”
“Donation of
Constantine, The” [a.k.a. the “Gift of Constantine”] (per
Dave Hunt, author of the book A Woman Rides the Beast; 1994; Pages
72, 73): “The popes’ authority even extended to large territories outside
Rome acquired in the eighth century. At that time, with the help of a deliberately
fraudulent document manufactured for the popes known as ‘The
Donation of Constantine’, Pope Stephen III convinced Pepin, king of the
Franks and father of Charlemagne, that territories recently taken by the
Lombards from the Byzantines actually had been given to the papacy by the
[Roman] Emperor Constantine. [King]
Pepin routed the Lombards and handed to the pope the keys to some 20 cities…and
the huge chunk of land joining them along the Adriatic coast.
Dated
30 March 315 [A.D.] ‘The Donation [of Constantine]’ declared
that [the Roman Emperor] Constantine had given these lands, along with
Rome and the Lateran Palace, to the popes in perpetuity.
In 1440 this document was proven to be a forgery by [i.e.,
through the efforts of scholar] Lorenzo Valla, a papal aide, and is so
recognized by historians today.”
((Ed. Comment to the preceding two definitions: Lorenzo Valla (1405-1457), an Italian scholar, used both historical evidence and linguistics to prove in 1440 that the so-called “Donation of Constantine” was indeed a deliberately fraudulent document – a forgery used by the Papacy to steal the territory that became the Papal States. According to Diarmaid MacCulloch, in his book The Reformation (2003), two other scholars, English bishop Reginald Pecock and the future German Cardinal Nicolas of Cusa, also came to the same conclusions as did Lorenzo Valla concerning the fraudulent nature of this document.))
“Fornication”
(per Webster’s New World Dictionary, Second College Edition; 1974): “1.
Voluntary sexual intercourse, generally forbidden by law, between an unmarried
woman and a man, especially an unmarried man…
2. Bible: a.) Any unlawful
sexual intercourse, including adultery; b.) Worship of idols.
“Freemasonry” (per I. A. Sadler, author of the book Mystery, Babylon the Great; 2003; Pages 175-181): “Freemasonry is another branch of the Babylonian Mysteries, which has survived under different names from the time of the fall of open pagan worship in the 5th century. …Freemasonry is just as ripe for manipulation by the Jesuits and the Church of Rome, that it may be used for the purposes of Rome, as any Protestant denomination. [Ed. Note: Freemasonry has been manipulated by the Jesuits for many decades.] …In Britain and the USA, Freemasonry appears as a ‘Christian’ organization. However, this is a most dangerous pretense, for the true god of Freemasonry is Lucifer, who is Satan appearing as an angel of light. …Both Freemasonry and the Church of Rome [at their highest levels] worship the same god… Masonic ceremonies implicitly deny the sufficiency of Scripture. …[Freemasonry] is particularly strong in many Baptist churches in the USA… Those in the lower levels of Freemasonry know nothing about the higher and even more secretive degrees.”

definition: The highest levels of Freemasonry are controlled by the Jesuit
Superior General. American historian James Parton tells us: “…If
you trace up Masonry, through all its Orders, till you come to the grand
tip-top, head Mason of the World, you will discover that the dread
individual and the Chief of
the Society of Jesus [i.e., the Black Pope –
the Superior General of the Jesuit Order] are
one and the same person.”))
“Heretic” (per
Darryl Eberhart, Editor of ETI): “As concerns historical Roman Catholic
use of this term: A ‘label’ applied by the Papacy to anyone who dared in the
past, or who dares today, to question either (1) papal authority, or (2) any of
the unscriptural doctrines based solely upon ‘tradition’ that have been
promulgated by the hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church, such as
‘transubstantiation’, ‘indulgences’, ‘papal infallibility’,
‘purgatory’, ‘worship of images’, ‘a celibate priesthood’,
‘auricular confession to a priest’, etc.”

definition of “heretic”: It is easy for corrupt church
officials to “label” a group of people as “heretics”, and then to
send armies to crush them and to loot their property! The hierarchy of the
Roman Catholic Church, i.e., Papal Rome, labeled the
Bible-believing Albigensian and Waldensian Christians as
“heretics” prior to sending armies to crush them!))
“Hypocrite”
(per Webster’s 1828 American Dictionary of the English Language): “1.
One who feigns to be what he is not; one who has the form
of godliness without the power, or who assumes an appearance of
piety and virtue, when he is destitute of true religion.
2. A dissembler; one who assumes a false appearance.”
“Idol” (per Webster’s 1828 American Dictionary of the English Language): [noun] “1. An image, form or representation, usually of a man or other animal, consecrated as an object or worship; a pagan deity. Idols are usually statues or images, carved out of wood or stone, or formed of metals, particularly silver or gold. 2. An image. 3. A person loved and honored to adoration. 4. Any thing on which we set our affections; that to which we indulge an excessive and sinful attachment… An idol is anything which usurps the place of God in the hearts of His rational creatures…”
“Idolatry”
(per Webster’s 1828 American Dictionary of the English Language): “1.
The worship of idols, images, or any thing made by hands, or which is not
God. Idolatry is of two kinds:
the worship of images, statues, pictures, etc., made by
hands; and the worship of the heavenly bodies, the sun, moon and stars, or of
demons, angels, men and animals. 2.
Excessive attachment or veneration for any thing, or that which borders
on adoration.”
“Image” (per Webster’s 1828 American Dictionary of the English Language): [noun] “1. A representation or similitude of any person or thing, formed of a material substance; as an image wrought [i.e., formed; produced] out of stone, wood or wax. 2. A statue. 3. An idol; the representation of any person or thing, that is an object of worship. The second commandment forbids the worship of images. 4. The likeness of anything on canvas; a picture; a resemblance painted. 5. Any copy, representation or likeness…”
“Infallible”
(per Webster’s New World Dictionary, Second College Edition; 1974): “1.
Incapable of error; never wrong. 2.
Not liable to fail, go wrong, make a mistake, etc.; dependable; reliable; sure.
3. Roman Catholic Church: Incapable of error in setting forth
doctrine on faith and morals: said especially of the Pope speaking ex cathedra
(i.e., in his official capacity).
“Infallible”
(per Webster’s 1828 American Dictionary of the English Language;
Meaning #1): “Not fallible; not capable of erring; entirely exempt from
liability to mistake; applied to persons. No man is infallible; to be
infallible is the prerogative of God only.”
“Inquisition”
(per Webster’s 1828 American Dictionary of the English Language;
Meaning #4): “In some [Roman] Catholic countries, a court or
tribunal established for the examination and punishment of ‘heretics’.
This court was established in the 12th century by ‘father’
Dominic, who was charged by Pope Innocent III with orders to excite [Roman]
Catholic princes [i.e., rulers] and people to extirpate [i.e.,
destroy completely] ‘heretics’.”
“Jesuit Order”
(per Darryl Eberhart, Editor of ETT): “The Jesuit Order is a religious
order of the Roman Catholic Church, officially approved by Pope Paul III in
1540. The primary goals of this order are (1) to roll back the Protestant
Reformation and the freedoms that it brought to many of the inhabitants of this
planet; (2) to enhance the power and prestige of the Papacy; and (3) to rule
despotically over the governments of the world through the Papacy. The head of the Jesuit Order is the Jesuit Superior General
– the ‘Black Pope’ – the real power behind the Papal throne. The
Jesuit Order is infamous for fomenting revolutions and wars, assassinating heads
of State, and subverting nations.”
“Jesuit Temporal
Coadjutor” (per Eric Jon Phelps, author of Vatican Assassins):
“Someone who performs service or duties for the Jesuit Order, but
who is not a Jesuit priest. This
person may be of any race, religion, or sex.”
“Knights of Malta” (per Darryl Eberhart, Editor of ETI): “A Roman Catholic religious-military order headquartered in Rome with, and under the command of, the Jesuit Superior General. Much of the wealth of the Knights Templar, when it was disbanded in 1312, was given to the Knights of Malta. Many Knights of Malta have held top-level positions in various governments, in the world’s foremost intelligence agencies, in international banking, and in the publishing world. A number of Knights of Malta continue to hold such positions.”
“Nicolaitan” (per Webster’s 1828 American Dictionary of the English Language): “One of a sect in the ancient Christian church, so named from Nicolas, a deacon of the church of Jerusalem. They held that all married women should be common to prevent jealousy. They are not charged with erroneous opinions respecting God, but with licentious [i.e., wanton; unrestrained by law or morality] practices.”
“Nicolaitans” (per Halley’s Bible Handbook’ Page 702): “The ‘Nicolaitans’, it is thought, were a sect who advanced licentiousness as the proper way of life.”
((Questions & comments by Editor of ETI concerning the term “Nicolaitans”:
(a.) Might the Lord Jesus Christ be trying to tell us Christians something through the use of this term “Nicolaitans”? When we break down the “Greek” components of the word, we find the term “nikao” which means to “conquer, overcome, prevail”, and the term “laos” which means “people”. We derive the English word “laity” from the Greek word “laos”.
(b.) Could the term “Nicolaitans” signify a group of clergymen, within a rigid ecclesiastical system, who use that hierarchical mechanism to “rule vigorously and forcibly” over the laypersons [i.e., the laity] within that religious system?
(c.) Or, as author James Lloyd tells us in “The King James Controversy” (1998; Page 9): “This elevation of the clergy to the status of ‘interpreter’ [of the Holy Bible] for all us ‘foolish’ laymen is referred to as ‘the doctrine of the Nicolaitans’ in the book of Revelation.”))
“P2 (or P-2) Masonry” (per John Daniel, author of the book The Grand Design Exposed; 1999; Page 169): “There is a Masonic Propaganda group, number two…known as the ‘P-2 Club’, with its headquarters being in Rome. …The P-2 Club is a propaganda society of the world’s elite which includes high-ranking Roman Catholic prelates and, of course, Jesuits.”
((Ed. Comment to the preceding definition: P2 Masonry had its fingerprints all over the murder of Pope John Paul I, who was poisoned to death in 1978 before he could implement his plans to “clean house” at the Vatican and at the Vatican bank. He had learned that many top-level Roman Catholic prelates were high-level Masons, and had made plans to remove them from power. “Pontifex Maximus”

title of the supreme leader of the pagan priesthood in the Babylonian Empire
and in pagan IMPERIAL ROME; and a title of the supreme leader of the

“Vatican City”

“Vatican-Papacy-Jesuit-Knights
of Malta cabal” (per Darryl Eberhart, Editor of ETI): “This is a
term I use to describe the most powerful geopolitical-financial-religious
institution in the world, which is governed by the Jesuit-controlled
hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church. This institution includes (1) the
Vatican-Papacy, (2) the Jesuit Order, (3) the Jesuit-controlled Knights
of Malta religious-military order, (4) other religious and religious-military
orders (such as the Knights of Columbus), (5) Jesuit ‘temporal coadjutors’,
(6) the ‘Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith’ (i.e., the
Inquisition), (7) the highest levels of Freemasonry (which are controlled by the
Superior General of the Jesuit Order), (8) the Vatican Bank, (9) the numerous
financial, corporate, real estate, and stock holdings of Papal Rome, and (10) a

“Vicar of Christ”
(per Darryl Eberhart, Editor of ETI): Just one of many titles assumed by the
popes of Rome. The pope of Rome is
“claiming”, by the use of this title, to act in the place of
Jesus Christ on planet Earth. Webster’s
1828 American Dictionary of the English Language tells us the following
concerning the word “vicar”: “The pope pretends to
be vicar of Jesus Christ on earth. He
has under him a grand vicar, who is a cardinal, and whose jurisdiction extends
over all priests, regular and secular.”
IMPORTANT NOTE: I am not a Roman Catholic; I also am most definitely not anti-Roman Catholic as far as individual Roman Catholics go. My dad and 90% of my relatives are Roman Catholic; and the majority of my friends are Roman Catholic. I am, however, against the top levels of secret societies (from the hierarchy of the Jesuit Order to the hierarchy of Freemasonry). This is because these secret societies control the leadership of the Roman Catholic Church (through the Jesuit Order and P2 Masonry), and have often used this hierarchical system for evil purposes, such as “holy” Inquisition, “holy” crusades, “holy” wars, and religious genocide. The hierarchical system of the Roman Catholic Church is used quite effectively by secret societies not only to keep over one billion Roman Catholics “in line”, but also to gather intelligence, and to infiltrate (through its Knights of Malta, Jesuit “temporal coadjutors”, etc.) governments and various Christian denominations. I am also against any hierarchy that tries to place itself equal to, or above, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God – or equal to, or above, God’s Holy Word and Ten Commandments!

(1) Most Bible scholars agree that “the son of perdition” and “that man of sin” described here in II Thessalonians 2:3 refer to “the Antichrist”.
(2) The Apostle Paul’s use of the expression “the temple [Greek: naos] of God” in II Thessalonians 2:4 refers to the “body of Christian believers” rather than a physical building – such as the so-called “rebuilt Jewish temple” in the end time. Doesn’t the pope of Rome pretend to sit in Christ’s seat and claim that he is the Vicar of Christ on earth?))

(1) The “wolves” began infiltrating the Christian Church at its highest levels shortly after the Apostle Paul’s death – as he had predicted through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit of God.
(2) Notice in II Corinthians 11:13 that these “false apostles” are able to pass themselves off as “apostles of Christ” – no doubt deceiving many sincere Christians. Interestingly, Webster’s 1828 Dictionary tells us that Jesuit missionaries are called “apostles”. Also, the popes of Rome claim “apostolic succession” back to the Apostle Peter, whom they falsely claim was the first Bishop of Rome. (Early church historians don’t even list Peter as a Bishop of Rome – much less as the first Bishop of Rome.))

(1) Might the Lord Jesus Christ be trying to tell us Christians something through the use of this term “Nicolaitans”? When we break down the “Greek” components of the word, we find the word “nikao” which means to “conquer, overcome, prevail”, and the word “laos” which means “people”. We derive our English word “laity” from the Greek word “laos”.
(2) Could the term “Nicolaitans” signify a group of clergymen, within a rigid ecclesiastical system, who use that hierarchical mechanism to “rule vigorously and forcibly” over the laypersons [i.e., the laity] within that religious system?
(3) Or, as author James Lloyd tells us in “The King James Controversy” (1998; Page 9): “This elevation of the clergy to the status of ‘interpreter’ [of the Holy Bible] for all us ‘foolish’ laymen is referred to as ‘the doctrine of the Nicolaitans’ in the book of Revelation.”))

Many books have been written speculating just who “the Antichrist” might be. These books often name one particular individual – one who has “not yet assumed” his “End-Time” position of ultimate power. One such book named Prince Charles. Another book named Ronald Reagan. Yet another book named former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev. In fact, there have been numerous candidates named in various books for this “job” of “the [End-Time] Antichrist”.
Most prophecy books on the market today agree that “the Antichrist” will arise after the “Church” has been “raptured” off of planet Earth via a massive “air evacuation” PRIOR to the initiation of a horrible “seven year period of great tribulation”. This “eschatological position” is by far the most popular today, and a zillion books, videos, DVDs, etc., have been produced promoting it! In fact, sales of these popular books, videos, DVDs, etc., show that the “prophecy business” is quite lucrative! But is the popular, “majority” view of Bible prophecy today the correct one? Throughout history, has the majority (at certain points in time) always been right? ((At one time, most of the people of the world, to include the Pope of Rome, believed that the Earth was FLAT!))
((Important Note: Many evangelical Christians and Protestants might be surprised to learn that key elements of the current, popular, prophetic “futurism”, to include the Pre-Tribulation Rapture, were developed by Roman Catholic Jesuit writers, such as Emmanuel Lacunza and Francisco Ribera. Such “measures” were taken as part of the Counter-Reformation in order to remove the Antichrist “spotlight” from Papal Rome – i.e., the Papacy.))
Please thoughtfully consider the many quotations given in this issue of ETI. Please also carefully consider the numerous Bible passages quoted in this newsletter. I believe strongly that we have been “fed” a lot of misinformation and disinformation in the arena of Bible prophecy through these popular books, videotapes, and movies concerning the “Last Days”. Much of this prophetic misinformation and disinformation has been based on lies and fables introduced into the Christian Church by Jesuit “wolves in sheep’s clothing” centuries ago! The Holy Bible warns us that “deception” will be rampant in the “End Times”!
A final thought for this introductory section: Many people these days seem to have adopted a mind-set of “holding back” on truth so as not to “offend” anyone. We do nobody a service by adopting such a mind-set. It is true that we should present the truth without undue acrimony [i.e., sharpness; bitterness of expression]; however, GOD through His Holy Word commands that we speak the truth and that we expose evil. (Please see Ephesians 5:11.) Please consider this quote by Dave Hunt (taken from page 403 of his outstanding book A Woman Rides the Beast; 1994):
“We are told to love one another as Christ has loved us. Pop psychology trivializes that command by equating it with a ‘positive’ attitude. Forgotten is the first duty of love: to speak the truth (Ephesians 4:15). Real love does not flatter or soothe when correction is needed but [rather] points out the error which is blinding and harming the loved one. Christ said, ‘As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten; be zealous, therefore, and repent’ (Revelation 3:19). Instead, the idea is now current that love excludes rebuke, ignores the truth, and seeks unity at any price. Only disaster can result.”
II. IT IS GOOD VERSUS EVIL (NOT Roman Catholic Versus Protestant)!
Many of the earliest “reformers” were Roman
Catholics (such as Martin
Luther) who tried, at least initially, to work for change within the Roman Catholic Church. They initially had no intention of
leaving the Roman Catholic Church, but rather wanted to purge out those false doctrines and practices that had slowly crept into the Church over the
centuries! Please consider the following quotation by Steve Wohlberg, author of
the book End Time DELUSIONS: The Rapture, the Antichrist, Israel, and the
End of the World; 2004:
“21st
Century Christians should realize [that] it was sincere Catholics
wanting a change [in the Roman Catholic Church] that originally
spearheaded the Reformation. Initially,
they had no thought of leaving the Mother Church but simply wanted
to redirect their [Roman] Catholic countrymen away from the traditions
of men and to lead them back to the pure truths of the Word [of
God].
…In the 1500s, as a result of the invention of the printing press, countless European and English Catholics read the Bible for the first time in their lives. As a result, they uncovered the good news of salvation through trusting in Christ. At the same time, to their shock and amazement, they also realized that many Romish doctrines – including praying to dead saints and confessing to priests – actually led away from a simple faith in the merits of the Lamb [of God – i.e., Jesus Christ]. Compelled by the [Holy] Spirit, these sincere [Roman] Catholics tried to reform the church they loved from within. They preached the gospel and even appealed to the Pope. The result was fury, intense opposition, threats of flames, and the ugly cry, ‘You’re now a candidate for the Inquisition!’ As the conflict deepened, those who saw the [Holy] Bible as their final authority began to have serious doubts about the basic authority of a church that utilized torture chambers. In other words, they began to question whether the Holy Apostolic Roman Catholic Church, as an institution centered in popes and the Vatican, was really the Bride of Jesus Christ in the first place.” (Pages 88, 89)
The “wolves” that the Apostles warned us about have frequently, in the last several
centuries, come in the form of members of “secret societies” (Jesuits and high-level Freemasons)
who have infiltrated and taken over the hierarchy of the Roman Catholic
Church and most of the other large denominations. Additionally, members of these
“secret societies” have also infiltrated many non-Roman Catholic
seminaries. Sadly, these “wolves” have
sown a whole lot of false
doctrine. Much of this false
doctrine can be found in the “prophetic arena”.
((NOTE: Roman Catholics themselves have also frequently been the victims
of the Jesuits.
A number of popes, such as Clement XIII and Clement XIV, were
assassinated by the Jesuits.
A number of Roman Catholic monarchs, such as King Henry III of France and
King Henry IV of France, were assassinated by the Jesuits.
The Jesuits for centuries have
been purging so-called “liberal” Roman Catholics (who love God’s
Word) from any positions of power within the Roman Catholic Church’s
hierarchy. Professor Walter J.
Veith tells us: “At the Council of Trent many a Roman Catholic stood up and
said, ‘The Word and the Word alone!’”
Dr. Veith adds, “So there were many [Roman Catholics]
that weren’t ‘in line’ [with the hierarchy of Roman Catholic Church at
the time of the Council of Trent], so the [Roman Catholic] Church
itself needed a purging.” Indeed,
the purging process has been going on for several centuries, with the infamous
Jesuit Order leading this relentless purge against “liberals” and
“heretics”!))
(Verse
7): “After this I [i.e., the prophet Daniel] saw in the night
visions, and behold a fourth beast [i.e., a fourth king or kingdom
– see verses 17 and 23], dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and
it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake [i.e., broke] in pieces,
and stamped [i.e., stomped] the residue with the feet of it: and it was
diverse [i.e., different] from all the beasts [i.e., kings or
kingdoms] that were before it; and it had ten horns.
(Verse 8): I [i.e., Daniel] considered the horns, and, behold,
there came up among them another LITTLE HORN, before
whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots:
and, behold, in this [little] horn were eyes like
the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking great things.
…(Verse
16): I [i.e., Daniel] came near unto one of them that stood by, and
asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know [i.e.,
understand] the interpretation of the things [i.e., the things Daniel had
seen in his visions]. (Verse
17): These great beasts, which are four, are four kings [i.e., or,
kingdoms], which shall arise out of the earth.
…(Verse 19): Then I [i.e., Daniel] would know [i.e., wished to understand] the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse [i.e., different] from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake [i.e., broke] in pieces, and stamped [i.e., stomped] the residue with his feet; (Verse 20): And of the ten horns that were in his [i.e., the fourth beast’s/kingdom’s] head, and of the other [horn] which came up, and before whom three [horns] fell; even of that [little] horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows. (Verse 25): And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they [i.e., God’s saints] shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time [i.e., 3 ½ years = 42 months = 1260 days].” (Daniel 7:7, 8, 16, 17, and 19-25)
((Comments by Editor of ETI concerning the preceding Bible passage:
(1) (Verses 7 and 8): (Compare Revelation 13:1) Just about all Bible prophecy scholars agree that the “fourth beast” named here in Daniel 7:7 and 7:19 was the [Pagan] Roman Empire. And most Bible scholars agree that “the fourth beast and the little horn” in Daniel Chapter 7 fit the same descriptions as the beast found in Revelation 13:1-7.
(2) (Verses 20 and 24): The Roman Empire fell in 476 A.D., and ten kingdoms arose out of its “ashes” in the western portion of the Empire: the Franks, the Alamanni, the Suevi, the Anglo-Saxons, the Lombards, the Visigoths, the Burgundians, the Ostrogoths, the Vandals, and the Heruli (also known as the Heruls, Eruli, or Eruloi). These last three kingdoms fell literally into oblivion as papal power rose in Rome. In 538 A.D. (4) (Verse 20): A study of papal pronouncements (such as the pope claiming to be the King of kings and Lord of lords) should convince any reasonable person that many popes have had “a mouth that spake very great things”, [and a] “look more stout than his fellows”.
(5) (Verse 25): “[Thinking] to change times and laws”: The Papacy ignored and forsook the Holy Commandment of the LORD God Almighty to honor and keep holy the seventh day, the Sabbath (see the Fourth Commandment – Deuteronomy 5:12-15), and substituted in its place SUN-day – the first day of the week. Additionally, some of the earlier Roman Catholic Catechisms totally removed the Second Commandment, and then divided the Tenth Commandment into two parts so they would still have 10 commandments – minus the controversial Second Commandment. By the way, the Second Commandment reads: “Thou shalt not make thee any graven [i.e., carved; chiseled] image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them [i.e., the graven images], nor serve them…” (Deuteronomy 5:8, 9 a.)
(6) Please remember this key point about Bible prophecy: There are times when Bible prophecy is “layered” – having both a NEAR and a FAR “time” application [i.e., a “dual application”], or is applicable to more than one individual or location or nation/kingdom.))

(3) (Verses 5, 6, and 7): (Compare Daniel 7:11, 20, 21, and 25):
(a.) “42 months” = 1260 prophetic “days”, or 1260 years. “The little horn” described in Daniel Chapter 7 made war (i.e., “holy” crusades, “holy” wars, and “holy” Inquisition) with the saints and prevailed against them for 1260 prophetic/symbolic “days” (i.e., “years” – see Numbers 14:34 and Ezekiel 4:6). Most Protestant Bible scholars for over 300 years recognized that “the little horn” of Daniel was the Papacy, which reigned over the kings of the earth for 1260 literal years from its official recognition in 538 A.D. until 1798 when French General Berthier entered Rome, imprisoned the pope, and shut down the Papacy.
(b.) “42 months” (“dual application”): John Daniel, author of the book The Grand Design Exposed, tells us in his article entitled “Vatican Design Exposed” (posted on Internet web site: www.vaticandesignexposed.com) the following: “While under the Sixth Head rule of Rome during the Dark Ages, the 42 months are symbolic and become 1260 years. But after the wound of [Papal] Rome is healed and becomes the Seventh Head, the intensity of evil is condensed into a literal 42 months.” In other words, this Papal Romish power, which appeared to have a deadly wound in 1798 when General Berthier shut down the Papacy, will be putting the “finishing touches” on its tremendous “comeback” soon. (The Papacy has already “come a long way, baby” from 1798 to the present time! In fact, Italian Fascist dictator Benito Mussolini fully “restored” the Vatican – the Papacy – in Italy in 1929!) John Daniel and some other writers on Bible prophecy believe that the Pope (the Pontifex Maximus) will, in his final “act” as Supreme Pontiff of the World, establish his headquarters in Jerusalem and “rule vigorously and forcibly” for a literal 1260 days (3 ½ months) of renewed “holy Inquisition” (on a grand scale). As Supreme Pontiff in Jerusalem, Pontifex Maximus will be fulfilling the final role on earth of this ROMISH ANTICHRIST that has been in operation for over a thousand plus years (including an unbroken streak of 1260 literal years where “holy wars, holy crusades, and holy Inquisition” were more often the “rule” rather than the “exception”)!
(c.) “Blaspheming God”: Webster’s 1828 American Dictionary of the English Language gives as one definition of the word “blaspheme” the following: “To arrogate the prerogatives of God”. Webster’s 1828 Dictionary defines “arrogate” as follows: “To assume…more than is proper; to make undue claims from vanity or false pretensions to right or merit.” Two Biblical examples of “blaspheming” are found in the New Testament:
In Mark Chapter 2 the religious leaders accused the Lord Jesus Christ of blasphemy because He forgave a man his sins. The scribes replied, “Why doth this man [referring to Jesus Christ] thus speak blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God only [i.e., alone]?”
In John Chapter
10 we find the Jews getting ready to stone Jesus Christ because they believed
that He “being a man” was making Himself out [to be] “God”.
(Please see John 10:33.) And what
do we see the Papacy doing? They
claim that their priesthood can “forgive sins” in the place of
Almighty GOD. The Roman Pontiff
(the pope) (also known as Pontifex Maximus) unduly
[i.e., improperly] claims to be the “Vicar of Christ” on earth.
A study of papal pronouncements (such as the pope unduly claiming to be
the ‘King of kings and Lord of lords’) should convince any reasonable
person that many popes have had “a mouth that spake very great
things”, [and a] “look more stout than his fellows”
(as described in Daniel Chapter 7). Pope Leo XIII said, “We [popes]
hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty.”
(NOTE: It would be appropriate to repeat here a quotation by David Benedict that was given earlier in this newsletter: “…In the eleventh century, the Man of Sin appeared to have attained the summit of arrogance and blasphemy in the person of [Pope] Gregory VII. …He [i.e., Pope Gregory VII] assumed not only the appellation of ‘Universal Bishop’, but also those of ‘Sovereign Pontiff’, ‘Christ’s Vicar’, ‘Prince of the Apostles’, ‘God on earth’, ‘Lord God the Pope’, ‘His Holiness’, ‘King of kings and Lord of lords’, ‘Prince over all nations and kingdoms’, ‘The Most Holy and Most Blessed’, ‘Master of the Universal World’, ‘Father of Kings’, ‘Light of the World’, ‘Most High and Sovereign Bishop’, etc., etc.”)

(1) (Verse 11): “The story of TWO beasts”: John Daniel and a number of other writers on Bible prophecy see this “beast coming up out of the earth” as the United States of America. John Daniel, in his article “Vatican Design Exposed” states: “Revelation 13:11-18 is about a power that rises up in a way that is different from all the others, in that, all those before it rose up out of the ‘sea’. He further states that this “different” nation/kingdom “comes up, not out of the sea, but out of the earth…rising to power in an unpopulated area.” (Much of America was largely unpopulated at the time of its rising to power.) Comment: If you have trouble believing that the USA could be involved in “End-Time Prophecy”, or that the USA would actively support the miraculous healing of the Papacy’s apparent “deadly wound”, then you need to do a little investigation of the Jesuit and Freemason involvement in setting up the USA, and the occult symbolism that abounds in the layout of Washington D.C., and on the back of the dollar bill, to name just two examples! The Jesuit Order, headed by the “Black Pope” – the Jesuit Superior General, controls Freemasonry and the Vatican. F. (2) (Verses 12 and 14): (Compare Rev. 13:3 and 5): Again, the Papacy received what appeared to be a “deadly wound” in 1798 (after a 1260-year literal reign over the kings of the earth) when General Berthier shut down the Papacy on Napoleon’s orders!
(3) (Verse 18): “Counting the n-u-m-b-e-r of the beast”: “Six hundred threescore and six”: In other words, the number of this “beast” should add up to 666. Interestingly, on the Pope’s crown we find the following title in Latin: “Vicarius Filii Dei” (whose Latin equivalents of “numbers for letters” adds up to EXACTLY 666)!
(4) (Verses 16 and 17): “The MARK of the beast”: Much has been written in modern books on Bible prophecy concerning this “MARK”. Editor of ETI believes that possibly way too much attention (Could it be a DIVERSION?) is being put on the “physical” aspect of this “mark” (e.g., a high-tech chip) rather than upon the “spiritual” aspect of this “mark” (i.e., ALLEGIANCE to a false system that is ANTICHRIST)! With current advances in technology, there may indeed be a mandated “chipping” of the world’s population; however, the MAIN threat to one’s soul may be in “mental” (the forehead) ALLEGIANCE to this beast ANTICHRIST system, and in “actions” (the right hand) supporting it! As I wrote in a recent TTT newsletter entitled “Death by Government and Death by Church”, we had all better look out when CHURCH and STATE combine in genocide – and the prophecies in Revelation indeed point to a tremendous LOSS OF LIFE during the “End Times” when these last two “beasts” in Revelation 13:11-18 combine to slaughter millions upon millions of human beings!
(5) It is worth repeating this key point about Bible prophecy: There are times when Bible prophecy is “layered” – having both a NEAR and a FAR “time” application [i.e., a “dual application”], or is applicable to more than one individual or location or nation/kingdom.))

(1) (Verse 8): “Babylon”: Much has been written about just whom or what “Babylon” is. Some believe that “great city” “Babylon” to be Rome/the Papacy (as “ecclesiastical Babylon”); others believe that “great city” “Babylon” to be New York City (as “commercial Babylon”); others believe that “great city” “Babylon” to actually be the ancient and magnificent city of Babylon (which stood on the Euphrates River as the capital of Babylonia); and still others believe that “great city” “Babylon” to be Jerusalem. (2) Possibly the very most important thing to know about “Babylon” is that the LORD God Almighty commands His people to “come out of her”!
In Revelation 18:4 we read: “…Come out of her [i.e., “Babylon the great” – see Revelation 18:2], my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues…” (Please compare Jeremiah 51:6, 9, and 45.) When we read about the “plagues” in Revelation (which certainly look a lot like the “plagues” that fell on Egypt in the book of Exodus), it should encourage us to do a deeper study of Bible prophecy as found in Daniel Chapter 7 and the entire book of Revelation – so that we can recognize who or what “Babylon” is – and then, if we are in “Babylon”, to get “out of her”!))

The information (verses from the Bible and numerous quotations) contained in this newsletter, I believe, is overwhelming in its identification of who the real Antichrist is – especially as concerns this Antichrist who has been operating for centuries and sitting “in the place of” Jesus Christ – and it is the Roman Pontiff (the pope of Rome)! Chapter 7 of
the book of Daniel showed us a “little horn” that:
· Spoke pompous, proud words (e.g., assuming titles belonging only to God)
· Made war on God’s saints (e.g., “holy” crusades, “holy” wars, and “holy” Inquisition)
· Wore out God’s saints for 1260 prophetic years
· Thought to change times and laws (e.g., changing the seventh day Sabbath to first day Sunday worship)
Additionally, Steve Wohlberg, in his book End Time DELUSIONS, summarizes “Hell’s Harlot” from Revelation Chapters 14, 17, and 18 as follows:

Dear reader, the Papacy has Protestant denominations as her “daughters”, and she claims to be the “Mother” Church. The Papacy sits in Rome on “seven mountains/hills”. The Papacy uses both “purple” and “scarlet” as colors for her high-ranking clergymen. The Papacy’s possessions of “gold”, precious gems, and other forms of wealth are immense, staggering, and legendary! The Papacy has tortured, butchered, and murdered from 50 million to 100 million Christians just during the Dark Ages, using “holy” wars, “holy” crusades, and “holy” Inquisition to exterminate the populations of entire provinces and regions for their failure to bow to papal authority! Rome is indeed a “great city” that has through the Papacy ruled over many monarchs throughout history. The doctrines of Roman Catholicism (her “wine”) have been spread all around the globe. True Christians still reside “inside” this Church.
What other institution or organization or religion in all the world fits the combined descriptions of this “religious-geopolitical juggernaut” given in Daniel Chapter 7 and in Revelation Chapters 13, 14, 17 and 18 like the Papacy clearly does? No other institution, organization, or religion in history even comes close to fulfilling all the descriptions given in the Holy Bible for this “beast” – this “little horn” – that has slaughtered millions upon millions of Bible-believing Christians! Indeed, Papal Rome is “drunk with the blood of the saints”!
I do not see how any “honest” person can come to any other conclusion. The question is: Now that you know all this, what will you do with this information?
WARNING: It is quite likely that “Marian Apparitions” will be used to mislead many people during the “End Times”. It is also quite likely that the Jesuit-controlled Vatican will use certain “Marian Apparition” messages as “justification” for the commands they will be passing down through the Vatican’s hierarchical system to the “faithful” for carrying out the agenda of the so-called “New World Order” – i.e., the one-world government and the one-world religion (led by the Jesuit-controlled Papacy) combining to oppress the peoples of the world! “Preterism” (in its most extreme form) is totally wrong to promote the view that ALL Bible prophecies for the “end times” have already been fulfilled. Obviously, the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is STILL on the horizon. There is also another event still on the horizon – and that is the final slaughter of the saints during the period described in the Holy Bible as the time of “great tribulation”.
Christians will go through this period of renewed “holy Inquisition”, “holy war”, and “holy crusade” which will be orchestrated by the Jesuit-controlled Vatican, and will not escape prior to “all hell breaking out” through a massive “air evacuation” off of planet Earth which modern prophecy writers call the “Pre-tribulation Rapture”. (NOTE: The Pre-Tribulation Rapture is largely a fictional prophetic concoction whose main ingredients were provided by a Chilean Jesuit of Spanish descent named Emmanuel Lacunza in his 4-volume book, The Coming of the Messiah in Glory and Majesty. Lacunza died in 1801. Edward Irving translated Lacunza’s book from Spanish into English, and this English edition was published in 1827.) Sadly, because of this Pre-Tribulation Rapture “doctrine”, many Christians are not, nor will they be, prepared for the horrors soon to be visited upon this world!
The “False Prophet”: While this issue of ETI is about the “Antichrist”, I will offer but a brief word about the “False Prophet”. The “False Prophet” is mentioned in Revelation 16:13, 19:20, and 20:10. Some folks in the Seventh Day Adventist camp believe “apostate Protestantism” is the “False Prophet” seen in Revelation. Author John Daniel believes the “False Prophet” to be the USA, and that “apostate Protestantism” is simply the “daughters” of the “whore” spoken of in Revelation chapters 17 and 18. Author James Lloyd has stated that the “False Prophet” is the pope. What we can say with certainty is that the “False Prophet” is a major supporter of this final End-Time “Beast” power/empire!
It is clearly evident that much of “apostate Protestantism” is
helping to advance the Papacy’s agenda in the ecclesiastical
arena (i.e., helping, for example, in the ecumenical movement). The USA sure seems to be advancing the Papacy’s
geopolitical-military agenda. ((A study of the “behind-the-scenes”
activities by the Vatican in both World War I and World War II should prove to
most honest individuals the Vatican’s tremendous geopolitical power and

And please do remember what I stated numerous times in this newsletter: Bible prophecy at times has “dual application” – a near-far time for fulfillment. The 1260 “prophetic” years found its fulfillment in the reign of the Papacy from 538 A.D. through 1798. There still remains to be fulfilled a much shorter reign of 1260 “literal days” that will find the Pope ruling from Jerusalem. Roman Catholic Americans and non-Roman Catholic Americans need to understand that the Papacy has nearly always opposed “freedom of religion” (except for those few times and places where Roman Catholicism was in the minority – then and only then would the Vatican call for “freedom of religion”). Wherever Roman Catholicism has become a majority in a State, she (i.e., the Roman Catholic Church) indeed has tried vigorously to have all other religions suppressed or exterminated – especially those non-Roman Catholic Christians who have challenged her authority to overrule the Holy Bible with her traditions or her authority to rule over kings and kingdoms!
Numerous popes (including recent ones) have supported the United Nations and the movement toward a one-world government and a one-world religion. Relatively few Americans recognize the fact that the Vatican (controlled by the Jesuit Order and P-2 Masonry) is without doubt the most powerful religious-geopolitical-financial “player” on the global “chess board”. Even fewer will admit to that fact. Yet the Vatican helped foment and orchestrate two world wars! The Vatican supported Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, Fascist Croatia, and other Fascist regimes during World War II. The Vatican planned and carried out religious genocide against 600,000 to 1 million innocent Serb Orthodox Christians in the 1940s. ((Please remember that Roman Catholic clergymen (mostly Franciscan priests, monks, and friars) led and participated in the most barbarous torture and murder of innocent Serb men, women, and children during this monstrous genocide.)) Torture, murder, and mayhem “in the name of Christ” are not limited to the distant past. Will America be the next target of “religious genocide” when we go under total martial law? Was the Vatican’s Holocaust in Croatia in the 1940s a “pattern” of what will be used here soon in the USA?
