CHUTZPAH!”

I. DEFINITION: “Chutzpah”
(Per Webster’s New World College Dictionary, Fourth Edition; Wiley
Publishing, Inc.; 2006): “shameless audacity; impudence; brass”
[Ed.: “Chutzpah” is a Yiddish word that is derived from a Hebrew
word; it is pronounced “HOOTS pa” or “KHOOTS pa”.]
II. INTRODUCTION: There is a group of powerful and influential men in this world who seem to have a whole bunch of “chutzpah”. Please read the following quotations in the next section – with a few of my comments – in order to learn the identity of these men with so much “chutzpah”.
III. A WHOLE LOT OF CHUTZPAH:
“…In the eleventh century, the Man of Sin [Ed.:
see II Thessalonians 2:3] appeared to have attained the summit of arrogance
and blasphemy [Ed.: and chutzpah] in the person of Gregory VII [pope: 1073-85].
…He
[Ed.: i.e., Pope Gregory VII]
assumed not only the appellation of ‘Universal Bishop’, but also those of
‘Sovereign Pontiff’, ‘Christ’s Vicar’, ‘Prince of the Apostles’,
‘God on earth’, ‘Lord God the Pope’, ‘His Holiness’, ‘King of
kings and Lord of lords’, ‘Prince over all nations and kingdoms’, ‘The
Most Holy and Most Blessed’, ‘Master of the Universal World’, ‘Father of
Kings’, ‘Light of the World’, ‘Most High and Sovereign Bishop’, etc.,

“Every
[Ed.: Roman Catholic] cleric must obey the Pope, even if he commands what is EVIL; for no one may judge the
Pope.” – Pope Innocent III
(1161-1216; pope: 1198-1216) [Ed.: Popes, Roman Catholic prelates, and
all superiors in the Roman Catholic Church-System demand blind obedience! What chutzpah!]
“The Fourth Lateran Council, convened under Innocent III [Ed.: pope: 1198-1216] in 1215, laid down the requirement that Jews should wear distinguishing headgear.” – John Cornwell (“HITLER’S POPE: The Secret History of Pius XII”; Penguin Books; 2000; Page 25) [Ed.: For centuries many popes commanded that the Jews in the Papal States wear “distinguishing headgear” and be placed in ghettos. What chutzpah!]
“We [Ed.: i.e., the hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church] prohibit
laymen possessing copies of the Old and New Testament.
…We forbid them most severely to have the above books in the popular vernacular [Ed.: i.e., in their country’s native language – especially, in the common, everyday language of a people].
The lords of the districts shall carefully seek out the
‘heretics’ in dwellings, hovels, and forests, and even their underground
retreats shall be entirely wiped out.”

“We declare, affirm, and define as a truth necessary for
salvation that every human being is subject to the Roman
Pontiff [Ed.:
i.e., the Pope of Rome].” –

“The nation and kingdom that will not serve me
[Ed.: i.e., Pope Julius III]
shall perish.” – Pope
Julius III (pope: 1550-55) [Ed.: This motto was taken from a coin issued by
Pope Julius III in 1550. What chutzpah!]
“The [Ed.: Holy] Bible is not for the people; whosoever will be saved must renounce it. It is a forbidden book. Bible societies are satanic contrivances.” – Pope Pius IV (1499-1565; pope: 1559-65)
“In 1198 Innocent III [pope: 1198-1216]
issued a decree that all who read the Bible should be put to death. In
1229 the Council of
Toulouse passed a decree forbidding
either the possession or reading of the Bible, as did also the famous Council
of Trent [Ed.: 1545-1563]. Pius
VII [pope: 1800-23] in 1816 denounced Bibles as
‘pestilences’. Gregory
XVI [pope: 1831-46] in 1844 condemned Bible societies and
ordered priests to tear up all [Ed.: the Bibles] they could lay

that Bible readers should be put to death! What chutzpah!]
“The unrestrained freedom of thinking and of openly
making known one’s thoughts is not inherent in the rights of
citizens and is by no means worthy of favor and support.”
– Pope Gregory XVI (Bartolomeo
Alberto Cappellari; born-died: 1765-1846; pope: 1831-1846) [Ed.: This pope condemned “thinking”!

“The absurd and erroneous doctrines or ravings in defense of liberty of conscience, are a most pestilential error – a pest, of all others, most to be dreaded in a State.” – Pope Pius IX (born-died: 1792-1878; pope: 1846-1878) (Encyclical Letter; August 15, 1854) [Ed.: Here we have a pope telling us that we don’t have the right to “think”! What chutzpah!]
“These false and perverse opinions [Ed.: of democratic principles and individual freedom] are so much the more detestable, by as much as they…hinder and banish that salutary influence which the [Ed.: Roman] Catholic Church, by the institution and command of her Divine Author, ought freely to exercise, even to the consummation of the world, not only over individual men, but [over] nations, [over] peoples, and [over] sovereigns.” – Pope Pius IX (born-died: 1792-1878; pope: 1846-1878; Quanta Cura; December 8, 1864)
“The
State has not the right to leave every man free to embrace
whatever religion he should deem true.
…The
[Ed.: Roman Catholic] Church has the right to require that the
[Ed.: Roman] Catholic religion shall be the religion of the State, to the exclusion
of all others.
…Cursed be those who assert liberty of conscience and of worship and such that maintain that the [Ed.: Roman Catholic] Church may not employ force.” – Pope Pius IX (born-died: 1792-1878; pope: 1846-1878) (The Syllabus Errorum of December 1864) [Ed.: This pope spoke out against religious liberty! What chutzpah!]
Ed. Comment to the preceding four quotations: Popes and Roman Catholic prelates have frequently and regularly condemned popular, representative government and all the freedoms that Americans have long cherished, such as freedom of religion, freedom of conscience, freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, etc.

“On Via Monte Giordano, the street in which Pacelli [Ed.: who later became Pope Pius XII] was born, it had been the custom over many centuries for new popes to perform an anti-Jewish ceremony on their way to the basilica of St. John Lateran.” – John Cornwell (“HITLER’S POPE: The Secret History of Pius XII”; Penguin Books; 2000; Page 27) [Ed.: Papal Rome has for many centuries hated and persecuted Jews!]
“Don’t go to God for forgiveness of sins, come to me [Ed: i.e., Pope John Paul
II].” – Pope

born-died: 1920-2005; pope: 1978-2005; as quoted in the Los Angeles
Times, 12-12-1984) [Ed.: This statement by Pope John Paul II is 100% total blasphemy!
Only GOD can forgive sins!]
“[Ed.: Papal] Rome [Ed.: i.e., the Jesuit-controlled Vatican] must always be the center of all Christianity and the pope must be the head.” – Pope John Paul II (Karol Wojtyla; born-died: 1920-2005; pope: 1978-2005) [Ed.: The Jesuit-controlled Vatican wants to rule all Christian nations! What chutzpah!]
