ANSWER: Josef Ratzinger was born on April 16, 1927 in Bavaria; he was elected pope on April 19, 2005. He and his brother joined the Hitler Youth in 1939. In 1943 Ratzinger was conscripted into the German Army. (Prior to his Army conscription he had served in an anti-aircraft battery.) Ratzinger’s rise to the papal throne took the following path: In 1977 he was named Archbishop of Munich, and was created a cardinal; in 1981 he became the Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith [i.e., the Office of Inquisition]; in 1993 he became a cardinal bishop; and in 2002 he became the dean of the College of Cardinals.
Please carefully consider the following quotations about Pope Benedict XVI:
Author Dave Hunt states on page 261 of his book, “A Woman Rides
the Beast” (Harvest House Publishers, 1994): “The Medieval
Inquisition had flourished for centuries when Pope Paul III, in 1542, gave it permanent
status as the first of [Ed.: Papal] Rome’s Sacred
Congregations, the ‘Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Inquisition’. Known
more recently as the ‘Holy Office’, its name was changed in 1967 to the
‘Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith’…
…Therefore it is not surprising that the ‘Office of the Inquisition’ still occupies the Palace of the Inquisition adjacent to the Vatican, though under its new name, the ‘Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith’. Its current Grand Inquisitor, who reports directly to the pope, is the former Archbishop of Munich, Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger [Ed.: in 2005 he became Pope Benedict XVI] whom Time [Ed.: Magazine] has called ‘the world’s most powerful cardinal [and] the [Ed.: Roman] Catholic Church’s chief enforcer of dogma…’” [Ed.: Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger served almost five full 5-year terms as the head of the “Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith”, cutting short his fifth term when he became Pope Benedict XVI on April 19, 2005.]
On page 285 of his book, “A Woman Rides the Beast” (Harvest House Publishers, 1994), author Dave Hunt tells us: “Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, now in his third five-year term [Ed.: This was written in 1994; in 2005 he became Pope Benedict XVI.] as head of the modern equivalent of the ‘Holy Inquisition’ [Ed.: which is now called the “Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith”] served in the military in Germany during the war [Ed.: i.e., World War II], though he saw no combat. By his own admission he was aware of the Holocaust.”
In 2005, author David W. Daniels stated the following about this new Roman Pontiff: “…The new pope, Benedict XVI [Ed.: formerly known as Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger], was recently in Germany for World Youth Day 2005. He urged Europe to return to its ‘Christian roots’. What does that mean? It means a time when kings lived in fear of the pope. This new Roman Catholic leader was formerly the Chief Inquisitor, head of the ‘Holy Office’ of the Inquisition. Is it any coincidence that this German pope is still referred to by his colleagues as ‘Der Panzerkardinal’? …Get ready, folks, and hang onto your Bibles. What this new pope really wants is a 21st century version of the Dark Ages.’”
Author David Yallop, on page 273 of his book, “The Power and the Glory” (Carroll & Graf Publishers, New York; 2007), tells us: “Until the 1980s, John Paul II and many of his cardinals and bishops, including [Ed.: Joseph] Cardinal Ratzinger [Ed.: now Pope Benedict XVI], chose to ignore centuries of sexual abuse by priests. There is undeniably a direct unbroken line which stretches back over centuries from the present scandals of paedophile [Ed.: i.e., pedophile] priests back to the first millennium. Wherever one looks in the present furor [Ed.: of sexual abuse in the Roman Catholic Church], there are powerful echoes of the dim past.”
SUMMARY:
1. Josef Cardinal Ratzinger, before he became Pope Benedict XVI, spent almost 25 years as the head of the “Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith” (formerly known as the Office of INQUISITION). So this current pope has on his job résumé almost five full five-year terms as the “Grand Inquisitor” of the Roman Catholic Church-State system that brought the world over six centuries of brutal papal torture and murder of millions of human beings made in God’s image! (Some historians report that up to 50 MILLION individuals were murdered by this Papal Inquisitorial system. Many of them were slowly roasted to death at the stake!)
2. Josef Cardinal Ratzinger, before he became Pope Benedict XVI, helped his predecessor (Pope John Paul II) to cover up, as much as was possible, the vast extent of one of the greatest sexual scandals in Roman Catholic Church history, i.e., Roman Catholic priests preying upon boys. (Numerous instances of priestly sexual abuse have occurred in the past several decades here in the USA and also in Europe!)
3. Pope Benedict XVI would like to take Europe – and the rest of the world – back to the “Dark Ages” when Papal Rome ruled the world through alliances with despotic monarchs. In other words, Benedict XVI – and his masters, the Jesuits – want a one-world government, a one-world economy, and a one-world religion – all under the control of Papal Rome. This one-world system of totalitarian, fascist, despotic “State-and-Church” control would prohibit freedom of worship, freedom of conscience, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, etc. – and no popular, representative government would be permitted here on planet Earth! (Bible-believing Christians – and all individuals who love freedom – would be targets for immediate “extermination” by such an evil, freedom-hating, despotic one-world system under the control of Papal Rome!)
